Racing-Inspired CR-T Design

The CR-T is one of SC-Project’s distinctive racing-style mufflers. Its design draws on the company’s experience in Moto2 racing. The compact shape gives the Kawasaki ZX-10R/RR a sharper and more aggressive appearance.

The carbon fibre version adds a lightweight finish to the racing design. Its deep and dark exhaust note also gives the four-cylinder Kawasaki a stronger acoustic character.

Lightweight Carbon Fibre Construction

SC-Project uses carbon fibre for the CR-T muffler body. The material keeps the exhaust lightweight while providing a high-temperature-resistant construction. A titanium end cap completes the muffler and adds to its premium racing appearance.

The SC-Project exhaust weighs only 1.2 kg, compared with 6.4 kg for the stock exhaust. This creates a total weight reduction of 5.2 kg. The significant reduction helps remove considerable weight from the ZX-10R/RR.

Power and Torque Gains

The CR-T provides a claimed +13.8 hp at 9000 rpm. It also delivers a claimed +10.8 Nm of torque at 6750 rpm.

These gains give the ZX-10R/RR a stronger performance-focused character. The slip-on system works with the supplied de-cat link pipe to create a more race-oriented exhaust setup.

Aggressive Racing Sound

The CR-T produces a deep and dark sound that matches the aggressive character of the Kawasaki ZX-10R/RR. The supplied technical data lists a noise level of 118 dB at 6500 rpm.

The exhaust comes without a dB-killer and carries a racing use only specification. Riders should check local noise and road-use regulations before using this exhaust outside controlled racing environments.

Full Titanium De-Cat Link Pipe

The kit includes a full titanium de-cat link pipe with a variable Ø60 mm–Ø70 mm taper. The titanium construction keeps the system lightweight and complements the carbon fibre CR-T muffler.

SC-Project also uses TIG welding for the bracket and fitting points. CNC-machined titanium bushings provide accurate connections between the exhaust components.
