Custom-Designed Crash Protection

Evotech designed this front-mounted crash protection specifically for the Ducati XDiavel V4. The system uses the available front footpeg mounting location when the rider footpegs have been moved to the rear position.

The design aims to protect the main frame should an incident occur. In addition, the crash protection covers the exposed front attachment point, helping improve the aesthetics of the motorcycle.

Large 60mm Crash Bobbins

The kit uses large 60mm diameter Evotech crash bobbins. These bobbins feature a nylon polymer outer with a strong aluminium core, combining the specified materials within the crash protection system.

Extending from the front mounting point, the crash bobbins provide the initial protection should an incident occur. Evotech designed this setup with the aim of reducing costly repair bills.

CNC-Machined Aluminium Bracket

The mounting bracket uses aircraft-grade aluminium and receives CNC machining. This provides a precisely manufactured component for the front-mounted crash protection system.

Furthermore, the bracket has a durable, textured black powder-coated finish. This gives the component a consistent black appearance while providing the stated durable finish.

Quality Fasteners and Easy Installation

The Evotech Crash Protection (Front Mounted) includes 316 stainless steel fasteners. The system also fits without requiring modifications to the motorcycle.

Because the design uses the existing front footpeg location, installation remains straightforward when the footpegs have been moved to the rear position. The supplied fasteners complete the mounting system.

Important Footpeg Position Note

Evotech has created bespoke crash protection for each of the two footpeg attachment points on the Ducati XDiavel V4. However, EP crash protection cannot be added to a position where footpegs remain in place.

Therefore, check the footpeg position before ordering your preferred Evotech Crash Protection option. The front-mounted version is intended for the front footpeg location when the footpegs have been moved to the rear position. Evotech also offers a rear option for the other attachment position.
