The Evotech Evo Folding Clutch and Short Brake Lever set – Triumph Trident 660 (2021+) combines a full-length folding clutch lever with a short two-finger brake lever. Evotech Performance designed the set using state of the art design software and riding experience. Each lever features deep radiused edges along its length for comfort, feel and style. The clutch lever pivots upwards when it contacts a solid object, helping prevent breakage, while its tensioned spring and bearing hold it firmly in position. Evo Folding Clutch Lever Design

The Evo Folding Clutch Lever uses a pivot system that allows the blade to move upwards when struck by a solid object. Afterward, the lever manually returns to its original position. The tensioned spring and bearing keep the clutch lever firmly positioned. Therefore, the lever cannot accidentally move out of position through rider contact.

Evo Short Brake Lever

Meanwhile, the brake lever uses the non-folding Evo Short design. Also known as a two-finger lever, its shorter blade places the ball end closer to the chassis and away from the handlebar end. The short brake lever also features a snap-point at the ball end. Together, the folding clutch lever and short brake lever create a distinctive lever set.

Six-Position Span Adjustment

Both levers feature six-position span adjustment through anodised adjusters. This allows the lever position to suit varying finger lengths. In addition, machined indents show each adjustment position. The typical adjustment range measures 17mm (+/- 1mm) at the lever midpoint. As a result, the available positions allow fine adjustment of the lever span.

Billet Aluminium Construction

The lever blades and bracket mount unions use billet aluminium construction. Furthermore, scalloped machining at the rear of the lever reduces weight while retaining strength. CNC-machined bracket mount unions provide a precise and fuss-free install of OE components.

The set also includes stainless steel CNC-machined clevis pins and retaining clips. Where supplied, the piston adjustment screw/barrel and tension retaining spring also use stainless steel CNC-machined construction. The lever ball-end dimensions meet statutory requirements.

Finish and Evotech Performance Details

For the finish, the lever blades and bracket mount unions feature durable black anodise. The span adjusters use a durable red anodise finish. Alternative span adjuster colours are available from the EP Accessories section, including green, silver, blue, black, gold, orange and titanium.
