WRS Caponord Windscreen for Honda CRF 1100 Africa Twin Adv Sports 2024-2025
What Is the WRS Caponord?
Crafted by Italy’s motorsport-grade windscreen specialist WRS, the Caponord screen is a 4 mm thick PMMA plexiglass touring windshield, purpose-engineered for the Adventure Sports variant of the Africa Twin. TÜV-certified and DOT-approved, it offers direct fitment without the need for drilling or modifications.
Size & Fit
Two variants are available:
-
HO073 (Adventure Sports only)
-
Height: 52.5 cm (≈6.5 cm taller than stock)
-
Width: 44 cm (≈8 cm wider) .HO069 (Standard Africa Twin, non‑Sport)
-
Height: 53.5 cm (≈11.5 cm taller than stock)
-
Width: 45 cm
-
Both versions drastically expand wind protection, shielding your helmet, shoulders, and even your pillion on extended rides.
Finish Options
The Caponord is offered in:
-
Transparent (HO073T / HO069T)
-
Smoked (HO073F / HO069F).
Finish impacts both style and night‑time visibility—opt for transparent in low-light conditions, smoked for a stealthier look on sunny days.
Wind Protection & Riding Comfort
Based on WRS specs and user feedback:
-
Eliminates turbulence at head and chest levels
-
Channels airflow cleanly above the rider at highway speeds
-
Significantly reduces wind noise and rider fatigue.
On touring-heavy roads like highways, riders report improved comfort and less buffeting:
“I have the WRS Caponord windscreen on my ‘23. It’s cheap and it works great!… No buffeting around the head… Much better than the Puig and Givi imho.”
“…as spot on with wind 🎯 exactly in to the top vent of the lid” (181 cm rider) Reddit
Installation
Simple and familiar:
-
Remove OEM windscreen and well-nuts
-
Reuse factory hardware
-
Align Caponord to stock mounting points
-
Tighten screws to 3 Nm as specified.
No drilling or bracket changes are needed. Note: the HO069 may not fit with Honda’s OEM upper deflectors—check bike configuration.
