Solid Aluminium Alloy Construction
Ducabike manufactures the protection system from aluminium alloy machined from solid material. This construction offers a balance of strength and low weight for everyday riding and track use.
Additionally, the coloured anodised finish gives the component a refined appearance while complementing your motorcycle’s existing controls. The precision-machined design combines functional protection with a premium finish.
Spring-Loaded Protection System
The system helps protect the clutch lever from unintended pressure caused by accidental contact or impact. Its specially shaped profile places the protection in front of the lever while allowing room for normal hand movements.
A spring mechanism allows the front section to pivot when required and return to its original position afterwards. This design also helps the rider’s hand move away from the protection during a fall. The descending profile transitions upwards towards the front of the lever to support clearance during different riding manoeuvres.
Although the system adds a protective barrier, it cannot prevent every type of lever damage or injury. Always inspect the clutch lever and protection system after an impact.
Adjustable Length and Handlebar Compatibility
The adjustable-length design allows riders to tailor the protection to different motorcycle setups. It is compatible with handlebar tubes with an internal diameter of 14–19 mm.
For the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono and 698 Mono RVE, installation requires removal of the standard handguard. Before ordering, check your handlebar dimensions and the compatibility list to confirm the correct fitment.
