Bespoke Main Frame Crash Protection

Evotech Performance designed this crash protection system around the Triumph Trident. The bespoke main frame design uses a CNC-machined aluminium bracket together with specifically shaped spacers. This combination creates the mounting arrangement for the large EP crash bobbins.

The crash protection fits to the motorcycle’s existing mounting points. Therefore, no modifications are needed. The design also provides an easy installation process while retaining the existing mounting points as part of the fitting arrangement.

Large EP Nylon Crash Bobbins

At the centre of the system are 60mm diameter EP nylon crash bobbins. Each bobbin features a strengthening aluminium core. As a result, the nylon and aluminium construction forms the main crash protection components positioned on either side of the Triumph Trident.

Should a spill occur, the nylon and aluminium bungs are intended to receive the initial impact. This aims to reduce damage to the motorcycle and help reduce the possibility of costly damage following a fall or slide.

CNC-Machined Aluminium Components

The bracket uses CNC-machined aluminium, while the system also includes specifically shaped spacers. These components form part of the bespoke main frame crash protection design for the Triumph Trident 660.

In addition, the crash bobbins feature strengthening aluminium cores. Together with the large 60mm EP nylon bobbins, these components create the complete crash protection system supplied for the motorcycle.

Durable Matt Black Finish

The aluminium bracket receives a discreet matt black powder-coated finish. This provides a durable finish while keeping the crash protection visually discreet on the motorcycle.

Furthermore, replacement fasteners are provided with the kit. This adds the required replacement fasteners to the supplied components without changing the bespoke design of the crash protection system.
