The SC Project 4-2-1 Stainless Steel Headers for Kawasaki Z900 (2017-24) focus on performance and lightness. These 4-2-1 headers use SAE 304 stainless steel construction. 4-2-1 Header Design

SC-Project developed this full system through its in-house R&D department. The development also involved major MotoGP and SBK championship teams. SC-Project offers the system in full titanium or AISI 304 stainless steel versions.

This product uses SAE 304 stainless steel headers. The 4-2-1 configuration forms part of the complete SC-Project groupset for the Kawasaki Z900. It also works with the entire range of slip-on mufflers dedicated to the motorcycle for which the system was designed.

Performance and Weight Reduction

The headers produce a claimed +8.8 hp at 10200 rpm. They also deliver +7.1 Nm at 8200 rpm. Alongside these figures, the system reduces overall weight.

The SC system weighs 4 kg. The OEM system weighs 8.3 kg. Therefore, the headers provide a total weight saving of 4.3 kg.

Original Lambda Sensor

The SC-Project full system houses the original lambda sensor. The technical specifications also confirm the inclusion of a lambda probe.

In addition, the system removes the original catalytic converter. According to the supplied information, this allows an important reduction in operating temperature. It also gives the Z900 a deep and gloomy sound.

SAE 304 Stainless Steel Construction

The headers use SAE 304 stainless steel. SC-Project also offers the complete system in a full titanium version. This product, however, uses the stainless steel header configuration.
