The Adventure-R is designed for riders who want a distinctive exhaust while maintaining compatibility with the motorcycle’s original equipment. It perfectly matches the OEM heat shield and works with the original BMW Vario side cases and central stand.

Titanium Body and Matt Black Finish

The Adventure-R features an ultralight titanium body with a matt black ceramic coating. SC Project adds its lasered logo within a debossed section, creating a distinctive appearance while adding resistance to the body.

The exhaust is also available in natural titanium and matt black ceramic finishes. This gives riders an option to choose the finish that best suits their BMW R 1300 GS/GSA.

Distinctive Carbon Fibre End Cap

The new carbon fibre end cap gives the Adventure-R a sharper appearance. Its aggressive design works with the double asymmetrical output to create a distinctive view from the rear of the motorcycle.

As a result, the exhaust adds a clear visual change while maintaining the compact character of the Adventure-R design.

Performance and Sound

The Adventure-R delivers a claimed +2.1 hp at 6000 rpm and +2.4 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. It also weighs 2.0 kg, compared with 2.4 kg for the OEM exhaust, providing a weight reduction of 0.4 kg.

SC Project also developed the silencer to give the BMW’s twin-cylinder engine deeper tones. At the same time, the exhaust remains compliant with Euro 5+ regulations and carries EC/ECE type approval for street-legal use.

Tested for Adventure Riding

SC Project tested the Adventure-R across long-distance travels and various conditions, including both road and off-road use. This development approach reflects the requirements of the BMW R 1300 GS as a multi-purpose motorcycle.

The exhaust also uses TIG welding in a protected environment. Furthermore, its internal bushings use CNC-machined solid blocks. These production processes support precise couplings and the durability expected from an SC Project genuine product.

Plug-and-Play Installation

Installation is plug and play, making the Adventure-R straightforward to fit. ECU remapping is not necessary, so the exhaust can work with the motorcycle’s existing setup.

The silencer also matches the OEM heat shield and remains compatible with the original Vario side cases. In addition, riders can continue using the central stand.
