Performance and Weight Reduction

The SC Project S1 Titanium Exhaust delivers measurable performance gains for the Z900 A2. It produces up to +3.1 hp at 10,700 rpm. Additionally, it delivers +2.0 Nm of torque at 10,700 rpm. The exhaust also improves power and torque delivery across the low and mid-range.

Weight reduction forms another key part of the S1 design. The SC muffler weighs 1.3 kg, while the OEM exhaust weighs 3.6 kg. Therefore, the S1 reduces weight by 2.3 kg compared with the original exhaust. SC-Project also states that the weight reduction exceeds 60% compared with the OEM exhaust.

Titanium Construction and Design

SC-Project crafts the muffler body from high-grade titanium. Meanwhile, a matt black ceramic coating gives the body its specified finish. The titanium link pipe complements the main body, while the carbon fibre end cap adds another distinctive design element.

The exhaust also features a hyper-aggressive slash-cut outlet. Furthermore, a hand-welded sector link pipe contributes to the overall appearance. Each detail combines the materials and technologies used in the S1 design.
