SC1-R 250 mm Racing Exhaust

The SC1-R muffler represents SC-Project’s benchmark in the WSBK championship. Combined with the de-cat link pipe, this 250 mm version focuses on engine performance and handling for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

The exhaust is intended for racing use only. Moreover, the removable dB-killer allows two supplied sound configurations. With the dB-killer installed, the exhaust records 108 dB at 6500 rpm. Without it, the stated level reaches 115 dB at 6500 rpm.

Ultralight Titanium Construction

The muffler body uses titanium, while the end cap uses carbon fibre and the de-cat link pipe uses titanium. The SC exhaust weighs 2.1 kg compared with 7.1 kg for the OEM exhaust. Therefore, the stated weight reduction is 5 kg.

In addition, SC-Project uses handcrafted TIG weldings, a hydroformed asymmetrical outlet and a sporty carbon fibre end cap. An exclusive aluminium riveted plate with a 3D-embossed SC-Project logo completes the silencer body.

Power and Torque Gains

SC-Project states a power increase of +16.1 hp at 9500 rpm and a torque increase of +12.3 Nm at 9500 rpm. The supplied information also states an improvement in power and torque delivery through the low and mid range.
