Rally Raid Design for Adventure Riding

SC-Project developed the Rally Raid range with inspiration from extreme off-road competitions. Its aggressive styling suits the adventure character of the X-Cape 650.

Moreover, the high-mount position gives the exhaust a distinctive rally-inspired appearance. The design also complements the motorcycle’s multi-purpose nature.

Lightweight Titanium Construction

The muffler uses high-quality titanium for its main body. This material keeps the exhaust lightweight while providing the durability needed for demanding riding conditions.

SC-Project tested the Rally Raid design during long-distance journeys. These tests covered both road and off-road environments. Therefore, the exhaust suits riders who regularly explore varied terrain.

Power and Torque Gains

The SC Project Rally Raid Titanium Exhaust, high mount- Moto Morini X-Cape 650 (21-25) delivers +1.5 hp at 7200 rpm. It also produces +1.5 Nm of torque at the same 7200 rpm.

Furthermore, SC-Project developed the system to improve power and torque delivery across the low and mid-range. This supports a responsive riding experience across different riding conditions.

High-Mount Exhaust Configuration

This Rally Raid version features a high-mount configuration specifically designed for the Moto Morini X-Cape 650. The raised position gives the exhaust a stronger off-road-inspired appearance.

In addition, the system uses an SAE 304 stainless steel link pipe. The end cap also uses SAE 304 stainless steel, creating a durable combination with the titanium muffler body.

TIG Welding and CNC-Machined Bushings

SC-Project focuses on precision during manufacturing. The company TIG welds the exhaust components in a protected environment. This approach helps create accurate and consistent joints.

The internal bushings receive CNC machining from solid material. As a result, the components achieve precise coupling and support long-term durability.

Plug-and-Play Installation

Installation remains simple because the Rally Raid system uses a 100% plug-and-play mounting design. The kit includes a carbon fibre heat cover for added protection around the exhaust area.

Therefore, the system does not require modifications to install the supplied components. Its bracket mounting also keeps the assembly secure on the motorcycle.

Compatible with Original Side Cases

The SC Project Rally Raid Titanium Exhaust, high mount- Moto Morini X-Cape 650 (21-25) remains compatible with the original side cases.

This feature makes the exhaust practical for touring and adventure trips. Riders can retain the motorcycle’s luggage setup while upgrading the exhaust system.

Euro 5 Street-Legal Approval

The exhaust carries EC/ECE type approval and is street legal under Euro 5 regulations. SC-Project also supplies a type approval certificate.

As a result, the approved configuration combines its rally-inspired design with road-legal specifications. It also delivers the performance and sound changes associated with an aftermarket slip-on.

Adventure-Ready Sound and Performance

The Rally Raid muffler delivers a distinctive sound while maintaining Euro 5 compliance. Moreover, its titanium construction and high-mount layout give the X-Cape 650 a more aggressive visual character.

SC-Project developed and tested the system for long-distance riding in different environments. Therefore, it works well with the multi-purpose nature of the Moto Morini X-Cape 650.

Conclusion

The SC Project Rally Raid Titanium Exhaust, high mount- Moto Morini X-Cape 650 (21-25) combines adventure styling, lightweight construction and practical touring compatibility.

It delivers +1.5 hp and +1.5 Nm at 7200 rpm while maintaining Euro 5 street-legal approval. Furthermore, the titanium body, TIG welding, CNC-machined bushings, plug-and-play installation and original side-case compatibility make it a practical exhaust upgrade for the X-Cape 650.
