Trofeo Racing Development
SC-Project developed the Trofeo system for the Aprilia RS 660 track version. The project also involved the Aprilia Racing department and formed part of the Factory Works program.
The system uses a 2-1 layout with variable-size titanium headers. Moreover, it removes the original catalyst to help reduce operating temperature.
Power and Torque Gains
The exhaust system delivers +3.6 hp at 9250 rpm. It also produces +2.7 Nm of torque at 9250 rpm.
Therefore, the Trofeo system gives the RS 660 measurable performance gains. SC-Project recommends ECU remapping to obtain the best performance.
3.1 kg Weight Reduction
The complete SC-Project system weighs 3.3 kg. In comparison, the stock exhaust weighs 6.4 kg.
As a result, the Trofeo system saves 3.1 kg. This lighter exhaust can also help reduce the motorcycle’s overall weight.
SC1-R Carbon Fibre Muffler
The system uses the SC1-R carbon fibre muffler with a matching carbon fibre end cap. Its racing design gives the RS 660 a distinctive appearance.
In addition, the SC1-R produces a deep and dark sound. The carbon fibre construction also keeps the exhaust weight low.
Titanium Headers
The system uses titanium headers with a variable-size design. This configuration supports the system’s torque and power performance.
Furthermore, SC-Project uses TIG welding in a controlled environment. CNC-machined billet bushings provide precise connections between the exhaust components.
Removable dB-Killer
The exhaust includes a dB-killer that you can remove when required. With the dB-killer installed, the system produces 101 dB at 5250 rpm.
Without the dB-killer, the measured sound level reaches 105 dB at 5250 rpm. Therefore, riders can choose between the two exhaust configurations for suitable racing applications.
Original Lambda Probe Compatibility
The system works with the original lambda probe. This allows the complete exhaust to retain the original probe.
Moreover, a dedicated mounting bracket supports the installation of the system.
Passenger Footpeg Recommendation
This exhaust system is not suitable for riding with a passenger. Therefore, SC-Project recommends removing the passenger footpegs.
The setup focuses on racing and track use. It suits riders who want a dedicated performance exhaust for the RS 660.
FOR RACING USE ONLY
The SC Project 2-1 “Trofeo” full Exhaust System carries a FOR RACING USE ONLY designation. It targets racing and track-focused applications rather than normal road use.
The lightweight construction, catalyst removal, racing headers, and SC1-R muffler all support this purpose.
Performance-Focused Aprilia RS 660 Upgrade
The SC Project 2-1 “Trofeo” full Exhaust System Titanium, with SC1-R Carbon fibre Exhaust- Aprilia RS660 (20-24), combines a 2-1 racing layout with titanium headers and a carbon fibre muffler.
Overall, the system delivers +3.6 hp, +2.7 Nm of torque, and 3.1 kg of weight reduction. It also supports the original lambda probe and includes a removable dB-killer. For the best results, SC-Project recommends ECU remapping.
