Iconic CR-T Racing Design
The CR-T represents SC-Project’s racing-focused exhaust design. Its development draws on experience from Moto2 racing and high-level competition.
Therefore, the CR-T gives the Honda CBR1000RR a more aggressive racing character. Its compact design also creates a distinctive appearance compared with conventional exhaust systems.
Lightweight Carbon Fibre Construction
The exhaust uses a carbon fibre body and a titanium end cap. This combination keeps the system extremely light while providing strong resistance to high exhaust temperatures.
The stock exhaust weighs 3.3 kg, while the SC-Project system weighs only 0.95 kg. As a result, the system reduces exhaust weight by 2.35 kg.
Power and Torque Gains
The SC Project CR-T Carbon fibre Exhaust delivers measurable performance gains. It produces a +2.5 hp increase at 7,200 rpm.
In addition, the system provides a +2.6 Nm torque gain at 6,900 rpm. Therefore, it can add more output while also significantly reducing exhaust weight.
Deep and Dark Racing Sound
The CR-T produces the characteristic deep and dark sound associated with SC-Project’s racing exhausts.
However, this configuration does not include a dB-killer. Therefore, it is intended specifically for racing use rather than road use.
Full Titanium Link Pipe
The kit includes a full titanium link pipe. SC-Project uses T.I.G. welding to manufacture the link pipe and its connections.
Furthermore, titanium keeps the link pipe lightweight while providing strong resistance to high exhaust temperatures. This construction complements the carbon fibre muffler body.
High-Mount Configuration
This version uses a high-mount setup with a dedicated mounting bracket. The position gives the CBR1000RR a focused racing appearance.
Moreover, the high-mount configuration complements the compact CR-T silencer. It creates a purposeful look inspired by competition motorcycles.
Aeronautical-Derived Materials
SC-Project uses materials derived from the aeronautical industry in the CR-T design. The carbon fibre body and titanium components receive dedicated treatments for high-temperature exhaust conditions.
As a result, the exhaust combines lightweight construction with materials selected for demanding racing environments.
TIG-Welded Racing Construction
SC-Project uses T.I.G. welding for the bracket and exhaust fittings. The full titanium link pipe also features T.I.G. welded construction.
In addition, the internal coupling bushings use CNC-machined titanium. These bushings come from solid material and provide precise connections between the exhaust components.
Racing-Only Exhaust System
The SC Project CR-T Carbon fibre Exhaust, High Mount- Honda CBR1000RR (17-19) is marked FOR RACING USE ONLY.
It does not include a dB-killer and does not carry road-homologation specifications in the supplied technical data. Therefore, this exhaust should be used only in applications intended for racing.
Performance-Focused CBR1000RR Upgrade
The SC Project CR-T Carbon fibre Exhaust, High Mount- Honda CBR1000RR (17-19) combines a lightweight carbon fibre body, titanium components, and a high-mount racing configuration.
With a 2.35 kg weight reduction, +2.5 hp, and +2.6 Nm of torque, it provides a focused performance upgrade. Furthermore, its deep sound and unmistakable CR-T styling give the CBR1000RR a distinctive racing character.
